Back to Work
The paper today ran a story on workers in the capital taking extra time off to extend Christmas, and it seems they were right - my office is practically deserted.
I'm here though, and it's hard to get back into a work state-of-mind. So today is all about clearing unread emails and trying to remember how a computer works.
The break was a good chance to get out of the city for a while. As a relatively new Londoner the hustle and bustle is sometimes overwhelming, and the chance to get to the coast for a few days was very welcome.

I'm still amazed by the amount of people who do go back to work right after New Years. I'm lucky - my office is closed until the 8th. I would really struggle to get back into "work mode" less than 48 hours after one of the biggest parties (apparently - I just slept through it :P) of the year
